Join us for a panel on the Waste No More Ordinance and supporting rules and regulations. What does it mean for your property? We will have the City of Denver Zero Waste & Circular Economy Manager and three Denver Metro BOMA Associate members representing construction, recycling, and composting, who will explain the new rules and the nuances that go along with them.



Kelsie DeFrancia  | Zero Waste & Circular Economy Acting Manager 
Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency, City and County of Denver

Kelsie DeFrancia is the Zero Waste & Circular Economy Acting Manager for the City and County of Denver’s Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, & Resiliency, where she guides the environmental policy work of the Zero Waste and Circular Economy team. She oversees analysis, development, and implementation of policies that support waste reduction, reuse and repair, recycling and composting, and circularity. She previously led a research unit on urban sustainability and environmental policy at Columbia University’s Earth Institute in New York City, where she also taught a graduate-level class on innovative sustainability leadership for Columbia’s Sustainability Management master’s program.


Jason Bryant | Founder, President & CEO

Jason started PMG in 2014.  He is an experienced Construction Management Executive with a demonstrated history of working on commercial construction projects.  His skills in Negotiation, Finance, Operations, Project Estimation/Management, and NBL (Natural Born Leadership) have helped the company grow each and every year.  He relishes working with new clients and showcasing PMG’s skills as the premier GC in Denver, specializing in commercial interiors.



                                                             



Chase Coons | Commercial Relationship Manager
Waste Connections

Chase is a commercial sales and relationship manager for Waste Connections of Colorado; he has been in the industry since 2019. His goal is to help customers achieve optimal waste removal strategies so that their business is as efficient and waste-free as possible. Chase has industry knowledge with a background in all lines of trash removal from commercial, residential and roll-off. Born and raised in Colorado, Chase has a passion for his hometown and wishes to make each client relationship memorable. In short, Chase is a professional trash talker.



Christi Turner | Founder & CEO
Scraps

Christi Turner founded Scraps, a local company dedicated to creating access to composting where it didn’t previously exist. She has worked in sustainability, sustainable community development, environmental communications & environmental journalism throughout her career. Christi spent seven years in Madagascar helping communities create appropriate solutions to their sustainability challenges. She came to Colorado to take a step back from development and instead pursue a master's degree in environmental journalism and spent the next several years here photographing, filming, writing about, and otherwise sharing the environmental, sustainability & climate issues facing the state and region. As an entrepreneur and CEO of Scraps – an environmentally & socially responsible company – Christi leans on both of these facets of her background. She loves talking trash.
