2023 Community Affairs Committee Workday - The Urban Farm

Description
This year, the Denver Metro BOMA Community Affairs Committee has chosen to support The Urban Farm, a non-profit farm promoting youth and community education in Denver, Colorado.
When: Wednesday, September 13th, 2023 (and Tuesday, September 12, 2023)
Where: The Urban Farm - 10200 Smith Rd. Denver, CO 80239

We are looking for about 60 volunteers (30 AM, 30 PM) to participate with the following projects on Wednesday, September 13th:
1. Landscaping
2. Painting
3. General (weeding, cleanup)
AM Shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
PM Shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
We also need about 5-10 volunteers for the Prep Day on Tuesday, September 12th. This team will work with the point teams for landscaping and painting to prepare for the Workday.
Prep Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Bring your gloves, hats, sunscreen, and plenty of water!

If you are unable to volunteer your time and would still like to support our efforts, please consider a monetary donation. 100% of donations will go directly to The Urban Farm.

Following the workday, The Urban Farm will display our banner at their site. On Saturday, September 16, TUF is hosting Farm Fest. This event sees over 1,000 attendees, and our banner will be prominently displayed at the entrance.
In order to recognize the contributions of all involved, we have developed the following "Event Partner" Levels:
Chicken 🐤
Threshold: $1 - $499 monetary donation | or 1 volunteer from your company
Benefits: Company name on recognition banner at The Urban Farm**, company name on workday recognition slide at October member luncheon, company name on communications regarding the event (including but not limited to social media, emails, website)
Goat 🐐
Threshold: $500 - $999 monetary donation | or 2-4 volunteers from your company | or participation in Community Affairs Committee planning process for event
Benefits: Company logo on recognition banner The Urban Farm**, company logo on workday recognition slide at October member luncheon, company logo on communications regarding the event (including but not limited to social media, emails, website)
Horse 🐎
Threshold: $1,000+ monetary donation | or 5+ volunteers from your company
Benefits: Prominent company logo on Recognition Banner The Urban Farm**, prominent company logo on Workday Recognition slide at October member luncheon, prominent company logo on communications regarding the event (including but not limited to social media, emails, website)
**Must register to volunteer or complete donation by 5:00 PM MDT on Friday, September 1, 2023 to receive this benefit.
